What Is Sion?

Sion—also known as Zion—is a layered biblical concept that transcends geography. It begins as a mountain in Jerusalem, but Scripture reveals it as much more: a place where God dwells, a people He calls His own, and a vision of divine peace and justice. From ancient fortresses to heavenly cities, Sion represents the meeting point between heaven and earth, history and hope, worship and promise.
